C. History

Until the 18th century, the manuscript belonged to the congregation of Santa Giustina in PaduaSanta Giustina (Padua), as stated in the annotation on f. Iv (see Cantoni Alzati 1928, 234). A few years later, in 1797, it was sent to the Bibliothèque Nationale de France by order of Gaspard MongeGaspard Monge, along with other manuscripts and incunabula (see Astruc 1960, 344–6; Giacomelli 2022, 37–8). The manuscript seems to be an apographon of Parisinus graecus 1868Par. gr. 1868 (Pa) up to 2.140, where Pa ends abruptly; it then presents a text copied from C or an apographon of it.
