C. History

The manuscript was written in Crete, according to the subscription written by Georgius Eugenicus, in the third quarter of the 15th century. It is composed of two codicological units: the first codicological unit (i.e. ff. 1r–146v, containing the Homilies by John Chrysostom, see Hajdú 2012, 139) is slightly older than the one containing Pollux. The manuscript was probably assembled in Venice. It belonged then to the library of Johann Jakob FuggerJohann Jakob Fugger and in 1571 entered the Hofbibliothek of Munich (see Hajdú 2012, 141).
